Avoid the use of kettles, frypans or crockpots directly under overhead cupboards and over benchtop joins as steam and fat splashes may damage cabinets/benchtop.
Always use a chopping board – do not cut or chop directly onto bench surface
Avoid water being left on any surface for any length of time. This may cause swelling.
Please ensure the rangehood/canopy is always turned on when hot plate is on, as excess heat to nearby doors may cause damage which is not covered by warranty.
DOOR AND PANEL CARE
A soft cloth or sponge with warm soapy water is all you need for cleaning.
Stubborn stains and marks (pen ink) should be removed as soon as possible by gently wiping the surface in a concentrated area with methylated spirits.
The use of any sort of abrasive, solvent based or cream cleanser may impair the surface.
Do not allow any hot objects such as saucepans or irons to come into contact with your doors or panels
LAMINATE SURFACES
A damp cloth or sponge with warm soapy water is all you need for cleaning: avoid scouring or excessive use of an abrasive as this will impair the surface.
Please do not put hot saucepans/frying pans and appliancesthat transfer heat directly onto the benchtop, IE. electric frying pans, crockpots (This may cause breakdown in bonding between laminate and bechtop), which is not covered by warranty.
Avoid any spillage of liquids around sink, hotplate and particular joins in the laminate.
SOLID SURFACES
A damp cloth or sponge with warm soapy water is all that is required.
For more difficult marks and scuffs, use a mild abrasive such as Gumption or Jif with a white scothbrite pad.
Please do not put hot saucepans/frying pans and appliances that tranfer heat directly onto the benchtop, this is not covered by warranty.
